    What do you mean nerd stats? Those are just facts. It's really the most straight forward stat in basketball, what percentage a guy shoots. It take emotion and perception out of the picture.

    Yes, I'd chose Monroe over Aldridge, because LA has proven to me that he'll always revert back to being a pussy who is to dainty to mix it up inside. He will occasionally play like a real PF and take it inside, and when he does that, he's one of the best, but he doesn't do it consistently. He shot 3 freaking times more mid range than inside the paint last year, he took 100 more mid range shots than anyone in the fucking NBA.

    That makes my mouth water. Deng's a little better than Batum, Monroe's about as good as Aldridge now but has a higher ceiling once they teach him defense, and Hawes is a throw-in.

    Can you imagine a rotation of Aldridge, Lopez and Monroe? I think you're better limiting Lopez to fewer than 30 minutes anyway.

    It would be pretty freaking awesome!

    I wonder if we could keep it for more than just next season though. If Monroe is getting $15 million a season, LMA $20 million and Lopez signs a Gortat level contract of $12 million thats $47 milliion per year for two positions. It'd be fun if Allen was doing the old SPAM thing but I don't believe he'll spend crazy money like that again.
