If we started Vonleh we'd have to push Aminu back to the 3. I'm not sure if Stotts is down for that. I would try it out, and see what it looks like....its been good have Aminu at the 4 though. Still, you can't leave Vonleh' s rate of play unacknowledged. For now it's the beach for him, but hell he makes our bench solid
“He is like the baby brother around here,’’ Lillard says. “Noah … you just want to wrap your arms around Noah. Everybody loves Noah and you want to see him do so good because he’s such a good dude.’’
Yeah, but I only wear beads in places where they can be covered up with a bandoleer or ewok-leather satchel.
Baby bro growin' up quick! He's ready now to start administering beat downs & it's only gonna get worse for the opposition!
The other reason I think he (or at the least one of the wings) is that Plums is on a very cheap contract and the Blazers are way over the Cap and just a few dollars short of the Luxury Tax. They have the 2nd highest collection of salaries in the league and adding a re-signed Plumlee would cast a lot more than just his contract. The cap will go up a little but not the huge jump it made last year. Trading Plumlee and a wing+ in a consolidation deal could help deal with the impending tax hit if they keep everyone.
He played great but remember he's playing against the other teams bench. i dont get why people immediately want to start someone cause of a good game. he works well in the rotatio . why throw off his and aminus rhytym by reversing roles? keep them in their rotation and play the hot hand more minutes. i really liked stotts rotation last night. he kept lillard and cj bringing the ball up but used turner as that back up ball handler when 1 was resting so they cant get trapped as easily. once turner stops trying to score and realizes we are happy to pay him to get 7-10 assists a night we will be unbeatable.
Yeah, I want to see him be consistent before thinking about starting him. He had a couple games last year where he looked great, but most of the time he disappeared into the background. He also got a lot last night pretty easy. I want to see how he reacts when defenses pay attention to him.
Hell yea, i missed the game, but someone already cut a clip: Seems like he's getting the same open shots as last year, but he shoots it with confidence instead of doing whatever the hell Meyers does when he gets the ball. It's very important for him to do well and i like him alongside Dame and CJ, he's suppose to be the one punishing the other team for giving too much defensive attention to our guards.
