Only if Pops comes in the deal. LA without Pops is crap.

I really wonder is CJ is being overvalued in most of these trade ideas

he has the 19th highest salary and the 16th biggest contract but he ranks 120th in PER, 183rd in winshare/48, 206th in TrueShooting%, and 173rd in assist rate. While that assist rate has dropped considerably this year as CJ becomes a worse and worse playmaker, those other numbers aren't really that far off from last season. CJ is overpaid fore sure, but I guess there are a lot of overpaid players in the league so maybe there's a bloated contract for bloated contract deal Portland can find

of course it's very likely that the GM still considers CJ "untouchable" in trade talks.

That's the thing. I'd be completely fine with trading C.J. But I'm not gonna complain if they dont because who knows how low his trade value is.

Wizards just acquired Dekker. They already had a logjam at forward. Could be a set up for an Oubre/Porter trade.

Oubre for our pick. Do you do it?

I do not think they cared what they.got back. They look to just get under the luxury tax.

id say Pop w/o Duncan, Leonard, Parker, Ginnobly is as average as most coaches without a few Mega super stars. Plus he's not have fun anymore and does'nt like todays game.

Dekker is just depth, but he’s still depth they didn’t need.

How about Oubre for Swanigan? LMAO.

The Wiz have a severe lack of bigs now.

I wish. Don’t think that works financially though. We’d have to dump Baldwin on them as well. Since they’re paying even more tax than Portland, I’m guessing they ideally wouldn’t want any salary back. It’s also why I don’t think it’ll happen. We’d add to the bill and still would have to pay him in the summer.

Just thinking out loud... I think Neil would give up Collins for Gordon Hayward.

They just got a trade exception big enough to take on Biggie in the Dekker trade and we obviously still have the Vonleh one.

Not sure why this board is so interested in Oubre...

I'd much rather keep our pick.

With where the Blazers will be picking I dont really care about either. Oubre doesnt do much for me , but Neil picking another guy who wont be ready until their rookie contract is almost up isnt all that fascinating either...

It’s a lot more realistic than Otto Porter, and by that I mean it has maybe a 5% chance while the other has a 1%. Washington isn’t going to just dump Porter. They would want someone like Collins. Oubre is much more likely, but even that isn’t realistic because I can’t see Portland pumped about paying him.

I want Gordon Hayward. That won’t be cheap either but he’s a better player than Porter.

When you have 5 rings that for sure puts you in a high demand.

I disagree. As much as i'm still pissed at Benedict Aldridge, he would be the "perfect piece" to our puzzle. Nurk and LaMarcus would be an awesome frontcourt. LA has learned from Pop. If the Blazer could mange that trade i'd love it. As much as I hate what LA did, I still respect how wonderful his game is.
